Common Questions

Pricing, Answered.

How are your fees structured?

It depends on the engagement. Many services are priced on a flat or engagement basis — agreed upon upfront so you know what to expect. For advisory, consulting, and certain complex matters, we bill hourly. Either way, we walk through the fee structure with you before any work begins.

What does "starting at" mean?

Every client's situation is a little different. The starting prices above reflect our most straightforward engagements — for individuals, this would be a single taxpayer with only W-2 wages or 1099-R/SSA-1099 retirement income; for businesses, a single-member LLC or sole proprietorship filing a Schedule C. As complexity increases — additional income sources, more members or shareholders, multiple entities, or multi-state activity — so will the fee. We will always walk through that with you before work begins.

Why don't you just post a full price list?

Because a one-size-fits-all price list rarely reflects the actual work involved. A tax return for a single individual looks very different from one for a high-net-worth client with multiple entities and multi-state activity. We would rather have a short conversation and give you an accurate number than quote something that does not fit your situation.

Can I meet in person?

Yes. We offer both in-person meetings at our Camden, SC office and virtual meetings — whichever works best for you.

What if I only need one service?

Not a problem. We can scope individual services — a standalone tax return, a bookkeeping cleanup, or a one-time advisory consultation — without requiring a full-service engagement.
